I first started playing guitar at age 9. By age 12 I was playing live. By the time I entered high school I had started my original band ‘Hostile Groove’ which I enveloped the art and duty of leading a band. In 1999 I moved to Los Angeles to attend the Musicians Institute (guitar institute of technology) and graduated with a Professional Certificate and received the Stylist of the Year Award. Hostile Groove was reformed in 2001 to release a debut LP, shoot music videos and tour nationally. In 2006 I joined Hell Hath No Fury as their bass player and co-producer. My voice and music can also be heard in many side projects, movies and video game soundtracks. Since 2001 I’ve been teaching at the Musicians Institute as an Extreme Voice Coach and in the Metal Live Performance Workshop.
I currently live in North Hollywood CA working full time for both my home production studio, Shootie HG Studios, and affiliate studio, Landsberg Studios. I am a Hard Rock/Metal music producer. I am also an audio engineer and specialize in vocal production and ADR. I have ten years of experience in Pro Tools among other audio applications and have the facilities, gear and knowledge to output final product at an industry standard without going out-of-house. I have been self-employed since 2006 and a strong percent of my living is made from songwriting and audio production. I love music.
